We are recruiting Street Cleansing Operatives for our client near Cannock.

Pay Rate:
£10.42 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 37 Monday to Friday, 6-2

This opening assignment is on going with chance of a long term opportunity

CANNOCK- DRIVING LICENCE ADVANTEGOUS

Remove litter, detritus and waste materials from various public open spaces in order to improve the cleanliness of the area.

Assist with the delivery and implementation of high quality street cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities

On a day to day basis remove litter, detritus and other waste materials from highways, footpaths, grass areas and public open spaces within the Borough.
Empty contents of litter bins / dog waste bins.
Safely dispose of hazardous substances and materials such as needles and dog dirt.
Use a range of mechanical and hand tools.
Drive certain Council vehicles as required and as permitted by a standard car driving licence.
Respond to customers and their needs in a polite and efficient manner.
The timely completion and submission of all paperwork.
Be flexible and be willing team player to assist the delivery of Streetscape activities as required.
Carry out all duties with due regard to your own health and safety and the safety of the public.
Take care of all items of equipment and personal protective clothing issued to you.
