Quality Inspector
Based at our Huncoat, Lancashire site

Competitive Pay Rate + Excellent Benefits

Monday to Thursday, 7.00am - 4.00pm, Friday, 7.00am pm


The Role

  • Carry out the Goods Inwards inspection for component parts entering the company and ensure the specification requirements are met.
  • Identify and record any nonconformances to the specification requirements.
  • Produce and maintain accurate inspection records on the correct paperwork.
  • Input and maintain accurate stock data into a computerised system.
  • Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements, ensuring the safety of both themselves and others.
  • Perform any other duties in the Quality department as and when necessary.
  • Notify Quality team when nonconformances have been identified.
  • Attend meetings and make suggestions as required.

The Person

  • Good communications skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic IT skills including a working knowledge of Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently using own initiative.
  • Perform well under pressure.
  • Ability to follow established procedures at all times.
  • Conscientious and with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and flexible approach to working hours.
