Description

Responsibilities:


  • Safely and efficiently drive a delivery van to transport parts to designated locations
  • Load and unload parts from the van, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
  • Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the supervisor
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures as required
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal staff regarding delivery updates or issues
  • Perform basic maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Assist with warehouse duties as needed, such as organizing inventory or picking/packing orders

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus

Job Types:

From £11.44 per hour
