What you will do:


  • In our Mortgage Operations Support (
    parttime) role, you will work alongside Metro Bank's Mortgage Operations Specialist to provide support across a variety of Mortgage Operations tasks including administrative support
  • Review mortgage documentation, including income documentation and identification documentation
  • Provide administrative support throughout the entire Mortgage process
  • Develop an understanding of regulatory standards and complying with them to keep our Bank and FANS safe
  • Liaise with mortgage customers, relationship managers, brokers and solicitors, ensuring you use effective communication when dealing with internal and external stakeholder, continually creating FANs

What you will need:


  • Good experience within a previous Mortgages role, ideally within Mortgage Operations, and with a good understanding of the stages involved in purchasing and remortgaging
  • The ability to confidently analyse information to make decisions, and refer to documentation to assist you with this
  • To be a problem solver who can proactively work through problems, thinking of the best solutions but bumping up where appropriate
  • You will need to be a great communicator and a real team player who is keen to deliver for our customers
  • Evidence of being able to work to tight deadlines and in fast paced environments
  • To understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders

    This role is a parttime opportunity at 19.5 hr/w** we are able to offer some flexibility around the hours and days worked (our Recruiter will be able to discuss this with you in more detail), however please note it will be a requirement to work Tuesdays (which will be an inoffice day).
