Deerfoot IT Recruitment has an exciting new opportunity for a Software / Product Trainer with a background in software engineering, training, mentoring and coaching people working with complex software solutions in the process industry.

This full-time software / product training role is based in Cowes on the Isle of Wight and offers hybrid working and a favourable salary Up to £44k p/a and benefits.

As a skilled Product Trainer, you will be responsible for all product training and education aspects for the company's plant information management solutions portfolio, both for their customers and employees worldwide.

You will also define the training strategy for creating new courses, improving existing course content, conducting training classes and providing a channel for ongoing development and education.

In your first few weeks in this Software / Product Trainer role, you can expect to:

Evaluate customer training requirements
Define training strategies
Create new training courses
Publish and maintain training materials and virtualised software environments
Visit customer sites for facetoface training
Experience interfacing with prospective trainees
A background in Microsoft technologies, including general concepts, setup and configuration
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with various personality types and minimum supervision
Selfmotivated with initiative and desire to be successful and achieve targets
Availability for international travel
