INTERNAL VACANCY


This is a unique opportunity for an existing member of staff to join the Drainage/Graffiti operational teams in a first line management role of Site Agent on a Job Share basis.

This is to facilitate the flexible retirement of the current post holder.

This will probably entail you maintaining 0.6 FTE of your current role and grade whilst undertaking a job share in the Site agent Drainage/Graffiti role.


We are looking for an experienced highways/drainage/operational worker with an appetite to grow into a supervisory/management role and learn all the aspects of a line management role into drainage/graffiti activities for possible future progression into the role full time on the incumbent's full retirement.


This is an opportunity to ease yourself into a first line management role with support from the current experienced drainage site agent, as well as others within the team.

This transition will assist the gaining of knowledge into the management/supervision activities within drainage operations, processes, H&S documentation and day to day operational staff management.


You will be responsible for the team's activities on the two days in the role with support and mentoring throughout.


It will take a certain amount of dynamism to grow into this role with an appetite for leadership and responsibility as reflected in the Grade.
