The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for a Head of Bids for pxFairport reporting directly to the Sales & Bids Director. This role can be based at either our Adlington or Sunderland site.

The Head of Bids (HoB) will be responsible for the full bidding departments successful management and execution of all bidding activity for pxFairport.

They will own the bidding process along with all costing data and trackers, documentation produced and used to create winning bids in line with customer requirements.

Ensuring process is closely adhered to, managing review and approval steps is also a key duty and responsibility of the HoB to assure and safeguard the business.

Minimum Requirements:

Degree qualified in a technical, or engineering discipline.
Requires an understanding of heavy engineering or conveyor related costing
Be able to solve problems with velocity
Able to deliver bids and critical client requirements on time and on spec consistently
Has a thorough understanding of engineering drawings & bills of materials to validate costing
Significant experience in creating excellent documentation, reports, presentation and have experience in technical tender creation and bid writing
Ability to work directly and closely with bids, sales & projects personnel to ensure proposal content matches client expectation
Able to present bespoke technical solutions to key internal and external stakeholders
