Our busy small animal branch surgery is growing and looking to recruit a caring, enthusiastic, and versatile kennel assistant to join our friendly dynamic team.


The successful applicant will be an addition to our existing team who are highly skilled and passionate about what they do.

We are a hard-working team who look forward to welcoming an additional colleague.

We are a small team comprising of a nurse, 2 veterinary surgeons and a receptionist, with plans to grow in the near future.

Shifts are Monday - Friday, 10am-6:30pm


Duties include day patient care, assisting vets and nurses during examinations and surgeries, stock management, maintaining high standards of practice cleanliness and equipment care, assisting the vet on home visits, a daily run between the main hospital and the branch surgery with supplies and laboratory samples.

The role will also include a small amount of reception cover daily on an evening, the duties within this area include processing clients on arrival, taking payments, cashing up, booking of appointments and operations.

Driving license is essential.

Additional shifts at the weekend may be available to cover holiday and sickness at our main hospital.
