Data Architect / Azure - £90K - £110K + 35% Bonus - London / Reigate / Hybrid

Overview:

You will be responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing development of the Enterprise Data Platform._

Role & Responsibilities:

Leading the design of the Enterprise Data Platform and its ongoing development to meet business needs whilst monitoring performance and cost
Liaising with business, change and data stakeholders to ensure alignment with scope and timescales
Lead decision maker on data modelling methodology
Raising awareness of data management with business users
Creating guiding data standards and principles whilst defining the framework for the transformation used by the business for insight
Establish preliminary data integration plan
Ensuring progress is in line with business transformation projects and programmes
Manage a team of Data Engineers

Essential Skills and Experience:

At least 2 years' experience working at a senior level as a Lead Data Engineer or Data Architect
Good understanding of Microsoft Server technologies (Azure, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI)
Proven track record in operating large Data Governance programs and managing enterprise data assets in a complex organisation
Creating and implementing Data Governance frameworks and policies
Experience of implementing data modelling methodologies
Understanding of financial regulations and regulatory reporting
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its reporting capabilities
Familiar with Cloud (Azure) and Data Management trends, including open source projects, methodologies and leading commercial vendors that relate to data acquisition, management and the semantic web

Package:

- £90K - £110K basic salary
