Are you a Maintenance Manager looking for a new opportunity?
Are you a maintenance manager looking for a permanent role within a local organisation based exclusively in Tyne & Wear?

We are working exclusively with a renowned property investment company who are seeking an experienced maintenance manager to join their team and take responsibility for planned maintenance and reactive repairs across their portfolio of properties in the region.

This mostly includes care-homes and leisure facilities.

This role would likely suit somebody who has experience of senior facilities and maintenance roles working within large organisations who would now like to work for a smaller, more local company.

The employer is very keen to develop their own maintenance andrepairs service to allow the construction director more time to plan and orchestrate developments.

What would I be doing exactly?

  • Provide expert leadership for the property maintenance team
  • Manage and develop the maintenance service
  • Develop and adapt systems for responsive repairs
  • Monitor and feedback on team performance
  • Conduct service reviews
  • Organise the workforce
  • Organise training
  • Identify and negotiate with subcontractors
  • Design work structures to achieve goals
  • Manage compliance
  • Record and analyse data
