Job Description:


As Care Assistants, we spend quality time finding out what our clients dreams and wishes are to determine how we can improve their quality of life. We address basic personal care needs, but also design activities to keep people active and confident, as well as help them to keep involved in the community. We are supported by a great team, helping us with ideas and encouragement.


The Care Assistant role includes:


  • Visiting regular people in the community for a
    minimum of 1 hour:
  • Supporting with a variety of needs including personal care, help around the home and offering a listening ear.
  • Implementing creative ideas to encourage a better quality of life.
  • Communicating with families and nurses as part of the care team.
  • Participating in quarterly team meetings to support each other in our roles.

As Care Assistants we receive:


  • Competitive rates of pay £ £15.80 per hour.

Typical shifts available:

  • 7.45am to 15:15pm
  • 15:15pm to 21:15pm

Qualifications:


  • Experience in supporting an older person in a personal or professional capacity is preferred but not essential.
  • You will have a passion for helping others and pride yourself on finding creative ways to improve a person's life.
  • You will be reliable, trustworthy, compassionate, and respectful.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Available to work every other weekend.
