My client is a leading property developer based in Dorset, but offering really flexible working, looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the team in an excellent role that is vital to the future growth plans of this ambitious organisation.

The main responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner are as follows:

  • Liaise closely with senior stakeholders across the development directorate, acting as their financial matter expert and challenging them on their spending when required.
  • Create financial models which can support the assessment of new business.
  • Play a key role in the production of budgets, forecasts and longterm financial plans.
  • Lead on the review of financial appraisals of a number of new development schemes and acquisitions.
  • Monitor the budgets and actuals of ongoing projects and schemes, flagging any variances and challenging senior development stakeholders on these.
  • Manage a Management Accountant and an Assistant Management Accountant.
  • Lead on cashflow forecasting.

  • Qualified as an accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA,).
  • Experience of business partnering with seniorlevel nonfinancial stakeholders.
  • Strong financial management experience with the knowledge of how to put together a forecast and budget.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
