Description
MediaBlanket Ltd is looking for a Compliance Officer to join our team.

This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations, as well as ensuring the safety of our clients and staff.

The position will also be responsible for ensuring that all compliance requirements are met.


You will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing upkeep relating to specified areas of compliance at MediaBlanket to always enable the best possible advice for our customers.

Acting as a point of contact across the business for general compliance advice, implementation of regulatory requirements, oversight and know where to direct queries that need to be escalated.

Preferably qualified with Advanced Certificate in Regulatory Compliance or similar with some financial services background.

You need to be able to showcase your experience of working with databases and online systems as well as delivering quality processes and procedures.

IT skills and familiarity with excel will be vital as well as your ability to influence others at all levels across the business with direct and clear communication.

You need to be a good team worker and self-motivator who remains calm under pressure. You must be interested in building and contributing to the development of a growing business.

You will educate the business so that all MediaBlanket teams understand their compliance responsibilities.

Your sphere of influence spans across FCA regulatory requirements as well as professional standards, Data Protection law and best practice.


You will contribute to project teams to provide guidance to the business on proposed change or growth opportunities, so you will need to be willing to continue your own personal development on an ongoing basis to further your knowledge and learning should this be required.


Given the nature of the role, your guidance may be used to shape decisions made by the business regarding future change, growth, or processes, so it's important that you can articulate any risks and concerns clearly and accurately, whilst providing balanced feedback and alternative compliant or lower risk options where appropriate.

Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
