£25,798 - £31,362 plus London allowances (£3,727 & £1,402) per annum

The MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences (LMS) is looking for an HR Advisor to join our team.

The LMS is an Institute of the Medical Research Council (part of UKRI), based at the Hammersmith Campus of Imperial College London and enjoys close links toImperial College, London and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

  • Working with managers to ensure successful recruitment campaigns, overseeing the end to end process
  • Providing HR advice to managers for general HR and Recruitment issues, ensuring adherence to MRC policies and legislation.
  • Managing parental leave and flexible working requests
  • Monitoring sickness absence levels, provide assistance, advice and support to managers in managing sickness absence supporting meetings and discussions.
  • Plan, organise, advertise and coordinate training days and training workshops and Wellbeing events
  • Providing onthejob training and day to day supervision / support to the HR Administrator
  • Act as HR representative or as notetaker for recruitment interview panels, exit interviews, promotion panels, award panels and formal hearing meeting
