Apex are a busy and successful exhibitions and events agency.

This is an interesting and varied role if you have experience and qualifications in marketing but are seeking a broader challenge.

It's a part time role which would be ideal if you are looking after children or simply wanting fewer than full time hours.

You will join a small successful team who deliver exceptional quality and service to clients wanting events or exhibition stands across the UK and worldwide.

The role is office based.

The job is split into two key areas:
Marketing and social media management including brand image, drafting and implementing marketing plans, competitor research, website management and advertising.

Project support for events and exhibitions including event management, making bookings, finding suppliers, proposal writing, client liaison, document control, budget checking and general support.

Hours - you may choose to work 4 or 5 days per week and hours are negotiable depending on your circumstances, provided you fulfil the total required hours. There is also a possibility of some work from home by arrangement.

Essential qualities - we are looking for a person who is adaptable and above all can communicate effectively verbally and in writing. You will be asked to deal with our important clients, and it is essential you are of smart appearance and have the necessary ability and skills to impress them.

You must be able to demonstrate these, and you will be tested as part of the recruitment process:

You must be a good communicator, both on the phone and in writing.
You must be organised and have excellent attention to detail.
You must be knowledgeable and experienced in Word, Outlook and Excel.

Salary is £17 - £20 per hour, paid monthly. There is a company bonus scheme, paid holiday and a staff pension plan for all employees.
