Transglobal Express is a rapidly growing international parcel delivery company that has been operating since 1993. In April 2022 we opened the East Midlands depot.

Are you a dependable and experienced warehouse operative / driver looking for a new opportunity? We are currently seeking a friendly and reliable warehouse person who is adaptable and will also help out with our courier collections / deliveries as a driver to join our courier team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

As part of our expansion of our East Midlands Depot we are now looking for someone to join our team Monday - Friday pm.

Responsibilities

• You will be required to drive a company 3.5t vehicle as well as a counterbalance FLT
• Load and unload parcels from trucks using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Ensure all goods are securely and properly stacked in the vehicle to prevent damage during transit.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Using a handheld device / scanner for accurate recording.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient coordination of shipments and optimise delivery routes.
• Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• Current Counterbalance FLT license / experience
• Previous experience as a driver or warehouse preferably in a logistics/ courier/ transport environment.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and navigate various types of equipment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying inventory.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Salary:
From £12.50 per hour
