Overview:


  • The Insurance Product Specialist within the Distribution Group is responsible for performing various insurance and reinsurance processes under supervision and direction in order to ensure timely delivery of quality products to new and existing clients

Responsibilities:

- handling small and medium-sized worldwide accounts, requiring technical knowledge of systems and procedures.
- following corporate rules, guidelines and governance for processing policy documentation in support of worldwide insurance programs, following defined processes.
- maintaining all aspects of client information in all appropriate systems for designated territories.
- processing accurate data and information. Accurately recording data and maintaining integrity of all applicable systems.
- tracking deadlines and interacting with all areas of the business.
- coordinating the efforts of multiple resources to ensure procedures and workflows are properly followed.
- interacting with internal and external clients.
- ensuring compliance with various global guidelines


Qualifications:


  • Education: minimum of Highschool. College/University course preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience preferably within insurance, finance or other environment. Combination of education and work experience will be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English.
  • Teamplayer, with ability to work independently.
  • Problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Selfmotivated.
  • Excellent math proficiency and analytical skills.
  • Flexibility/adaptability to change.
