This role will be working with the Treasury team and the Risk Management teams to support borrowings of up to £1 Billion across the funding portfolio including Loan facilities & commercial paper facilities.


The Role


This role is key in ensuring treasury systems, processes and procedures are operating effectively whilst ensuring effective Governance is delivered across the function.

You will be fundamental in providing funding strategies to the treasury committee for approval within the business.

Alongside this, you will also be building relationships with internal stakeholders as well as the external stakeholders such as banking partnersthroughout your role to ensure a good working relationship is maintained.


Also, within the role:

  • You will be responsible for preparing and implementing monthly medium to long term funding plans ensuring liquidity ratios are manage effectively whilst ensuring the businesses costs are minimised.
  • Investigating and implementing alternative funding methods as instructed by the Treasury Committee.
  • Planning and executing the refinancing of existing funding lines to ensure the business always has adequate funding.
  • You will also be ensuring adequate cover is available for all Cashiering and Treasury related activities. Manage the Treasury Function's Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and test the plan as part of the wider BCP tests for the business.


As part of the governance area of this role we are looking for someone who is confident to conduct a Bi-annual review of Treasury Policy ensuring the policy is kept up to date and business controls (including bank mandates and systems user access) and processesreflect the agreed policy.


This will also include performing an annual 'Health Check' of the Treasury function to ensure that best practice is being applied across the function as well as managing and improving treasury processes and procedures to maximise efficiency of operations.


Qualifications:


We are looking for someone who is ACT qualified or working towards a Treasury Qualification (ACT) to be able to give them the best success in this role, or someone who has the equal experience.


This role is based in Bracknell, on a hybrid working policy with 50% of the working time to be spent in the office across any given month.
