Job title - Technical Officer

After many years of working with this company and even more successful placements, we are back again looking to recruit for a new role which they are introducing to the company.

Your job title will be a Technical officer and will be on a Temporary contract.
This is an office-based role with their headquarters based in Bath.

They are looking for someone to start on the 30th of January and get underway with learning the culture of the company and systems in place.

You will receive an hourly rate of £24-£28 andis paid under the umbrella company.

Requirements of the Technical Officer role:

Background in Surveying and trade supervisor, reactive repairs supervisor or Technical support officer
Good knowledge and understanding of damp and mold issues
Basic computer skills
Experience with speaking and dealing with tenants
Good understanding of Social housing and how this industry works
Takes an organised approach to work, plan, monitor and adapt priorities
A team player with leadership skills

Responsibilities of the Technical Officer role:

Able to work under pressure and have a flexible and adaptable approach to on-the-spot questioning
Review all policies, procedures and processes, including KPIs
Working as part of a wider Operational team, your communication skills (both verbal and written) will be critical to your success, as will the ability to influence change and motivate crossfunctional teams
Able to answer questions and provide advice instantly
Be able to simplify terms so that it is understandable for your colleague and also the tenant
