This secondary school based in Ramsgate are looking for a Teacher of Maths to join a very successful Maths department and to teach a mixed timetable from January 2023 including Public Services teaching.

NQTs will be considered alongside more experiencedteachers with the recruitment emphasis being on quality of teaching.
This school teaches Maths at KS3 and KS4 as part of both an Ebacc and a GCSE programme.

Teachers are encouraged to be thoughtful in their lesson planning and to create engaging and exciting lessons that inspire the next generation of mathematicians.

Fun, interactiveand activity based lessons are the norm here. In addition to Maths you will teach a timetable to KS4 Public Services.
To be successful in this role you will need:

The ability to teach Maths at GCSE
An understanding of the Public Service curriculum (or a willingness to learn)
The ability to lead learners with excellent classroom presence
The ability to stretch and challenge academic students
The experience of using current educational technology
The uptodate knowledge of current teaching practices and safeguarding legislation
