Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Factory Labourer for our client based in Braintree, on a permanent basis.

Our client manufactures and supplies Cast Metal Products for the engineering and construction sectors.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Labouring heavy lifting, manual loading and unloading, general labour, moving metal parts
  • Operating cranes
  • Assisting casting of metal
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Working to achieve production targets

Experience, Education & Qualifications:


  • Hard working and selfmotivated
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • Strong team working and interpersonal skills
  • Used to working in a heavy Industrial Engineering Environment
  • Experience as a labourer
  • Ideally have a counterbalance fork truck license
  • Relevant industrial knowledge and experience will be considered


Working hours are Monday - Thursday 7am -3pm, and Friday 7am - 2pm with a 20 minute paid lunch break.

Regular overtime is available.


In return our client offers a salary of between £ £11.22 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, with a review after probation.

An attendance and production related bonus is also offered which brings the rate up to between £ £12.22.
