Our client a growing organisation in Thurrock is looking for a
Logistics Co-ordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Based within this fast paced environment you will need previous experience in a similar role, excellent communicationskills and a strong attention to detail.


As Logistics Co-ordinator, you will be working on a 4 days on and 4 days off basis with 12 hour shifts from 6.00am to 6.00pm.

You will be the first point of contact for both your drivers and customers ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of productsacross the country.

**Responsibilities will include:
- *
  • Being the first point of contact for customers and drivers to answer their queries
  • Preparing transport documents in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Replanning of customer base loads as the need arises
  • Liaising with other offices in the UK, reporting any discrepancies or specific requirements
  • Communicating efficiently and effectively with internal and external customers, drivers, and other offices, as required by operational procedures
  • Contacting UK delivery destinations to book in deliveries
  • Ensuring that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures
  • General Administration duties, e.g., invoicing, filing, queries, claims
  • POD handling for customers
**Skills and experience required:
- *
  • Previous experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar administrative role
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks using your own initiative
  • Ability to prioritise own workload but also be able to work as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
  • Conversant with Word, Excel and CRM systems
  • Must have analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
