We have a vacancy for Domestic Supervisor
Your main responsibility will be Ipswich Hospital Domestic Services are recruiting for a night-time working domestic supervisor. The purpose of the role is to shift the circulation and public cleaning from Days to Night.

This provides more effective, safer,and uninterrupted cleaning of these areas whilst providing a larger resource at night to assist the Rapid Response Cleaning Action Team.

Main Duties include:

To operate as a working Domestic supervisor with responsibility of all public area cleaning at night.
To effectively supervise the nightly cleaning team consisting of general area cleaners, ED, Renal and the Rapid Response CAT team.
To liaise with helpdesk to ensure productivity of individuals in line with task times and relocate individuals should the need arise to prioritise cleaning and assist patient flow.
To have knowledge of changes in legislation.
To meet client and company expectations.
To respond to any reasonable request of OCS or the Client.
To recruit, train, develop and motivate all OCS site personnel.
To maintain all company required records and information.
Assist in system data accuracy and report pulling from Timegate (Time and Attendance) system, Honeydew (Absence Management) and Helpdesk task allocation system.
To always ensure the provision of adequate personnel cover, inline with the Contract specifications.
To cover the roll of domestic, during periods of sickness or holidays, as required.
To liaise with the ward managers on all cleaning related issues, in order to provide the best possible catering service to the Trust
To liaise with the Supervisor on all Domestic and Catering related issues, inorder to provide an uninterrupted high level of service to the client.

To be successful in the role, you will need:

BICS/ IMPACT/ NVQ
Food Hygiene Certificate
Managerial or Supervision experience
Multi-Site contract experience.
Previous experience of working within a customer focused environment.
Knowledge of MS Office software coupled with good general IT Skills.
Experience in Healthcare Cleaning
