SDET | Automation, API / UI Testing, SQL | Finance Company Going FinTech


Our client is currently on a search for two experienced SDET's with strong experience in Automation testing, as well as UI and API testing.

The role will be working with the QA Team within IT Development by undertaking functional and non-functional testingactivities. You will be in a team of circa 30 QA engineers.


With the successful completion of an initial migration to Azure, our client is about to embark on the next phase of the enhancement of their IT service estate.

The new QA Manager has begun an 'automation crusade' within the business with an example being;reducing testing practices that took 5 testers 15 days to complete down to 3 testers in just 5 days to perform the same task Butthere is more to be done and we need YOUR help to do it and you will be given the autonomy to make further improvements happenSuch a great opportunity here.

With offices in the UK in London and Coventry and across the world and over 600employees in the business, they are a truly global and recognised brand in the financial sphere.


Some of the key skills and experience required include:

  • Test Automation Frameworks (ideally any of Playwrite, Cypress, , Jasmine, Mocha, Chai etc)
  • API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) and/or UI testing experience
  • SQL experience any is ok
  • Financial services or Fintech industry experience

Very nice to have:


  • Azure or AWS exposure
  • ISTQB/ISEB Certification
  • Test Management Tools (TestRail, Zephyr)
  • Bug tracking software (Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack/TestCloud/Lambda Test)
