Are you experienced Business to Business Field Sales Executive based in Central Scotland?

Minster Glasgow are recruiting new for Senior Field Sales Executive to cover the Central Belt of Scotland, with a 70% focus on Account Management and 30% New Business Development.

This role will be field based 4 days per week and typically one day in the office based in Craighall Road
The role will offer Competitive Basic Salary + Car Allowance + Generous Performance Bonus + Pension + Private Medical + Life Assurance + 31 day holiday per year

  • Proven experience in a proactive sales environment
  • Proven track record of results achievement

  • Commercial awareness while maintaining a positive relationship with clients
  • Knowledge of distribution sector and geographical area
  • Ability to build close and trusted working relationships with operational colleagues to ensure excellent levels of customer service and satisfaction are delivered to customers and in order to achieve company's goals

Your role will be to maximise area sales potential by increasing product sales to the identified customer segments and by achieving growth in the size of the customer base, through the effective management and development of a portfolio of customers.


In the role, you will be required to:

  • Arrange your own face-to-face appointments/visits with Minster customers throughout Central Scotland & Ayrshire
  • Work with the Business Manager to define and implement area sales plans
  • Develop, own and manage personal customer portfolio
  • Develop effective supplier relationships in order to maximise customer sales opportunities
  • Maximise opportunities to continually learn about new products and to improve selling skills
  • Achievement of sales and margin targets
  • Achievement of customer base growth and customer spend targets
  • Work with operational colleagues to manage debt performance of customer base
  • Ensure that the Saint-Gobain Principles of Conduct & Action are incorporated within the working environment

What will I be doing in the role?
