Coloma Convent Girls' School in Shirley is recognised as one of the top non-selective secondary schools in the country, recognising the needs of the whole child.

Coloma achieved the accolade of 'Best School in Croydon' in the Real Schools Guide in 2020 and in October 2019 received its fifth 'Outstanding' Diocesan Inspection report.

The whole school community is motivated by the mantra 'work hard and be kind' and the school motto 'to work is to pray.' In December 2022, The Times released its 'Parent Power Schools Guide' to the top 1600 UK schools based on 2022 exam results.

Coloma was ranked 2nd in the best girls' comprehensive category and 39th in the best comprehensive school category.

The Head teacher and Governing Body are looking for Invigilators who are punctual, reliable and trustworthy to provide effective support to the Exams Officer.

Invigilators are needed for Public and School Exams which take place throughout the academic year.

Coloma is highly successful and has been praised by many over its 150 years of history.

The school has been granted national excellence awards for the last two years and was described by our latest Ofsted report as having an 'outstanding ethos'.

This has meant, and continues to mean, that every member of the school community is motivated to see that they can make a positive difference through love, commitment and service.

We share a belief that we are children of God who seek to live in the way His Son Jesus taught us.

Hence prayer, respect for one another, integrity, kindness and compassion are greatly valued.
