An opportunity has arisen for an administration officer to join our administration team working within Newcastle Treatment and Recovery (NTaR) in Plummer Court, Newcastle.
It is a very exciting time to join the addictions service, following recent investment to implement the recommendations from the Dame Carol Black Independent Review of Drug Services.
Working alongside its partners (Humankind and Changing Lives), the service covers all drug and alcohol services and is an ageless service.
Our vision is to improve the well-being of everyone we serve, delivering services that match the best in the world, ensuring we help those most in need in our community to make positive and lasting changes by identifying steps they have to take and then support them to lead a fulfilling life.
Under the supervision of an administration team lead and working alongside administration colleagues, the post holder will provide a proactive administration service to the clinical team.
Working as part of the administration team, the post holder will carry out a range of administration tasks including typing of clinical letters, generating prescriptions, minute taking at meetings and general administration duties.
- have experience of working with Microsoft Outlook packages
- have experience of data input and producing reports
- have organisational and planning skills
- have minute taking skills
- have customer care skills
- have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- a good working knowledge of office procedures
You should currently hold the required level of qualifications, as outlined in the essential criteria of the personal specification within the job description.
