PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The role of the Accounts Assistant is to support the Head of Finance and Payroll Manager with an array of tasks, and take full ownership of the purchase ledger.
Key Requirements
- Managing the purchase ledger inbox
- Processing and posting supplier invoices
- Processing and paying Staff Expenses
- Reconciliation of credit card statement
- Preparing the weekly payment run
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Maintaining the purchase ledger
- Raising purchase orders
- Placing orders with suppliers
- Producing monthly sales invoices (for hiring of facilities)
- Ensuring prompt payment of sales invoices
- Maintaining the asset inventory
- Supporting other members of the finance team
Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:
- Significant experience working within an office environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritise workload.
- Proficient and experienced user of Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems with mínimal guidance.

Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
