Facilities Management Assistant - Stansted, United Kingdom - Ryanair

_ Day to Day Tasks _
- To support and coordinate the delivery of facilities management services, including basic H&S checks
- Solving day to day problems to ensure the facilities management service runs smoothly with no impact on the working environment
- To assist in maintaining the site in a good state of repair and appearance including all buildings, offices and facilities
- Working collaboratively with contractors
- Managing the onsite issues reported and communicating with the relevant department/personnel when necessary.
- Report on, arrange and oversee any alterations, redecoration, building, and maintenance works and specialised repair work
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all statutory maintenance undertaken across the building including weekly and monthly checks
- Ensure the work is completed by the building's inhouse team and appointed contractors on time and as per H&S regulations and to assist the Facilities Manager in booking in services by external contractor
- Assist the Facilities Manager with small to medium projects
- Assist the Facilities Manager in obtaining quotes
- Assist with the production and management of the estates team roster, holidays, overtime and planned absences
- Daily liaison with the Estates & Facilities Manager

Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to deal effectively with all staff, contractors, and visitors in a professional manner
- Strong working knowledge of IT and MS Office Strong written communication and numeracy skills Excellent organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to organise and prioritise work
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure Excellent initiative; the ability to think through problems and find solutions
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and work as part of a team
- Flexible, adaptable and proactive approach to work
- An interest in pursuing a career in Estates & Facilities Management Experience of working in an administrative capacity (in a premises/facilities environment, desirable)
- Experience of maintaining accurate records
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
