Bnr Stores Limited has been operational for the last 7 years and are a family run business, trading as Spar and Vivo stores throughout Lurgan and Portadown Areas. Our Post Office in Ennis close has been here for over 50 years and we currently have a number of jobs currently available as part of our expansion plans for this year.

Job Summary:

Duties:


  • Post financial transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Verify and reconcile data to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain records of financial transactions
  • Assist with data entry and data management tasks
  • Communicate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
  • Work as part of the instore post office team to deliver an exceptional service for our customers,
- whilst maximising post office services and upselling products, as appropriate.

  • Responsibilities Processing bill payments, lodgements,
- and other services applicable to the post office running.

  • Processing mail, parcels, and other related postal services.
  • Reporting and balancing of your own stock unit and safe daily.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of post office services in compliance with financial standards and authority guidelines.
  • Adherence to the company's store operating procedures applicable to the running of the post office.
  • Preparing and processing banking via the appropriate external services, as and when required.
  • You may be required to carry out shop floor, till or administrative duties, with appropriate training, as and when required as part of this role.

Experience:


  • Smart ID applicants with experience highly preferred, other applicants may be considered with training provided.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to computerize data accurately and efficiently
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic math skills for accurate data entry and calculations
  • Organizational skills to maintain records and files
  • Ability to upsell products or services is a plus

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Pay:
£8.60-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week


Schedule:

  • Flexitime
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
