The Opportunity
Interim Group Finance Director required to work alongside the CEO in a medium sized business. The Finance Director will take responsibility for all financial aspects of the company.

The Role
The Finance Director

  • Prepares monthly and quarterly management accounts and forecasts for the business.
  • Collaborates with Senior Leadership team to provide budget information, reports and analysis.
  • Report on capital expenditure and fundraising strategies.
  • Preparation of weekly cashflow forecasts.
  • Oversees routine accounting tasks such as Statutory Accounts for group companies, VAT etc.
  • Managing a growing finance team.
  • Proactive involvement in financial modelling, commercial evaluations and due diligence, acquisitions and JV proposals.

The Person:


  • The Finance Director must be qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Extensive finance experience having worked at a senior level within an SME environment.
  • Should have excellent communication skills and have worked previously with MDs and CEOs of businesses to help plan and manage their business.
  • Be able to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Understands UK GAAP or IFRS.
  • Commercial and business acumen.
