Higher Level Teaching Assistant

REED Education are currently looking for a HLTA to join a primary school playing a central role in the Headingley community.

This could either be a part-time/full-time position starting ASAP.

This would be a perfect position for anybody perusing a PGCE/QTS.

We would be open to a job share too, so please refer this to anybody else who may be interested.

Roles and Responsibilities

Cover whole classes for PPA release time throughout the school
Plan and deliver maths and literacy intervention schemes, working with small groups
Have extensive phonics knowledge and be confident in delivering phonics interventions to EAL children
Covering sickness within school and working across both Key Stage 1 & 2

HLTA Requirements

Have previous experience working in primary schools ideally across Key Stage 1 &
Set out engaging lesson with high expectation for the pupils
Experience working with a varied ability and being able to adapt to different settings
