Semi Senior Accountant
Permanent, Full-Time

Outskirts of Bedford

Are you a semi-qualified Accountant looking for a great opportunity within a firm that offers career progression, a unique environment and offices that are enviable as well as being in a fabulous location?

We are pleased to be working with our busy client who are rapidly expanding its practice and its relationships within the business community_._

Salary:
£23,000-£30,000 DOE

Hours:
Flexible hours - 7.5 hours between 8am and 6:30pm. Option for hybrid, one set day per week.

Duties:

Preparation of yearend accounts and the associated tax computations for a range of clients.
Responsible for dealing with ad hoc client queries and correspondence from HMRC and Companies House
Assist with the preparation of financial statements for companies, soletraders and partnerships, from both manual records and accounting softwarebased records.
Assist with the preparation of corporation tax and personal selfassessment returns.

The person:

-
Study Package is required.Studying ACA or ACCA, or qualified by experience.

Ideally experience using Iris accounting software, Sage Line 50 and QuickBooks online.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, in a busy office environment.
Can manage time effectively to ensure that jobs are finished within budget.
Proven track record for developing staff.
2 Years' minimum experience in a practice environment
