About The Role:


Are you looking to get into healthcare recruitment and make a difference to patient care? Are you passionate about delivering great customer service?

NHS Professionals is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our dedicated nursing and midwifery recruitment function. As a Recruitment Consultant you will be dedicated to supporting nurses, midwives and care support workers to join our bank and support our NHS within our Managed Service Provider Hospital Trusts


In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Arranging interviews
  • Providing interview feedback
  • Liaising with the Onboarding team post interview
  • Taking your turn in looking after the inbound phone line (12 hours per day) and answering any recruitment related queries


This role is fully homebased, Monday - Friday from You will need to attend the office in Hemel Hempstead occasionally for team meetings and potentially meetings with your Trust clients (travel expenses paid) on an ad-hoc basis (agreed with you in advance).

We are looking for experienced recruiters who are highly motivated, organised, have strong customer service experience and thrives working in a fast-paced environment.



To be successful in this post you will need to have:

  • Previous recruitment (healthcare sector is desirable) experience is essential
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • A track record of managing a highvolume caseload
  • Excellent ability to build rapport and relationships quickly on the phone
  • Great attention to detail
  • The ability to maintain motivation whilst working fully from home
