CNC Machinist & Machine Tool Assembly Technician

Salary Range:
£32,000 - £38,000 per annum + benefits

An exciting opportunity awaits for a seasoned CNC Machinist to join our esteemed client, a prominent international entity headquartered in Bedford.

About the Role:

As a CNC Machinist & Machine Tool Assembly Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the production of ultra-high precision assemblies and machinery.

Operating within a cutting-edge environment, you'll utilize your mechanical engineering expertise to operate and program 4/5 axis CNC machine tools for milling and turning components as per engineering blueprints.

Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in interpreting mechanical drawings and manufacturing components to exacting standards, often within micron tolerances.

Proficiency with Siemens and Fanuc control systems will be essential for success in this role.

Key Requirements:

Extensive experience in producing ultrahigh precision assemblies and machinery.
Proven track record in mechanical engineering within an ultrahigh precision setting.
Proficiency in operating and programming 4/5 axis CNC machine tools.
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and manufacture from mechanical component drawings.
Familiarity with Siemens and Fanuc control systems.
Demonstrated capability to work within micron tolerances.
Relevant engineering qualification in a Mechanical discipline (HNC/HND, C&G, BTEC or equivalent).
Selfmotivated team player with a proactive "cando" attitude.
