Salary up to £90,000

OVERVIEW

Harnham is partnering with an early-stage software development company that specialises in creating a platform for analysing the dynamic pricing of hotels.

The company is looking for a data scientist that will sit in their forecasting team. The role is focusedon predictive modeling using time series and forecasting.

Your responsibilities as a data scientist will include but not be limited to:

Working with the pricing team to develop and build forecasting algorithms of demand
Use machine learning, time series and statistical modeling to build predictive models
Present findings to a nontechnical audience
Lead and manage stakeholders

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

A successful data scientist will have the following:

Experience writing production-ready code in Python
25 years experience as a data scientist, building machine learning models in Python
Experience building predictive models using time series and forecasting
Understanding of credit portfolio management
Experience working with AWS, Python, SQL and Flask
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Experience leading projects
