Job Title:
Cleaner - Cirencester, Gloucestershire

Responsible to:
Site Manager

Line management responsibility:
No direct reports

Hours:4hours daily, 5 days a week over Monday to Friday

Contract:
Required as soon as possible to end of September

We provide over one million members with access to nearly 2,700 locations in the UK and Europe, as well as giving them access to our vast knowledge and expertise in how to make the most of caravanning and motor-homing a leisure pastime.

Purpose of job:

To provide a first-class service and assist with creating a safe, relaxed and enjoyable holiday environment for all our visitors by ensuring the cleanliness of the site facilities at all times.

Key Tasks/Accountabilities:

Cleaning and sanitising of public areas to the required standards, including shower facilities, toilets blocks, dishwashing areas, and laundry and refuse facilities;
Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials in liaison with Site Manager to ensure adequate supplies at all times.
Report any problems, issues and maintenance requirements to the Site Manager;
Work within the Club's Health and Safety guidelines to maintain and monitor a safe and secure environment for the welfare of our visitors and staff;
Maintain an effective and friendly working relationship with colleagues to promote a constructive working environment;
Generally assisting on site when necessary as instructed by your Site Manager.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience in a cleaning role is required;
Previous experience in the leisure industry would be an advantage, but not essential;
Ability to participate as a full team player and contribute effectively;
Attention to detail and high standards of work;
Ability to work on your own and to meet challenging deadlines;
Ability to communicate effectively and report any issues or concerns to your line manager;
Flexibility regarding hours is vital. The rota will may require some weekend working and days of work may need to flex (with notice) depending on bookings;
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods;
Working with 3rd party suppliers when required;
Excellent customer service skills;
Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment.
