Description

Flexible Personal Assistant required for a paraplegic client (spinal cord injury) in the Redbourn area of St Albans.

16 hours per week Monday to Friday at a rate of £15/hour.

A vacancy for a caring and empathetic person has arisen for a female personal assistant (PA)/cleaner/buddy for a 47-year-old woman who is wheelchair dependant.

The client's independence is focal to the support you will help provide, making for a stimulating yet laid back work environment as you assist her in living a fulfilling life.

You will be in the position to positively impact our client's quality of life and more than likely contribute to your own personal and professional development.

Daily tasks will include but not be limited to driving, light cleaning duties, washing and ironing, meal and food preparation, shopping when required and working as an advocate as required.

No personal care is needed.

Essential Criteria:

PAs are required to drive the client's vehicle therefore all applicants MUST have a full clean driving licence and be 25 years old or over.
A DBS check will be paid for as part of your recruitment.
Interviews will be held remotely via video chat.
All successful applicants will be required to complete at least 2 paid shadow shifts.
