Our specialist neurological multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team would like to offer you an opportunity to join us.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable person with good communication skills, with evidence of a caring attitude, and a willingness to learn.

In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary (pro rata where applicable).

You will participate in a 7 day working rota including long day shifts, night shifts, weekends and bank holidays.

Danesbury Neurological Centre is a 24 bedded in-patient unit based in Welwyn.

Using your experience of working with people with physical/sensory disabilities, you will be working with other members of the multi-disciplinary team in the in-patient unit enabling neurological patients to maximize their independence.

To work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, which specialises in the treatment and management of patients with complex neurological conditions and stroke.

To provide both clinical and administrative support to the qualified staff within the service to enable the delivery of high quality multi-professional nursing packages to highly complex patients with neurological problems.

To implement and progress agreed planned treatment programmes.

Whilst it is not a legal requirement, Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust encourages and supports all staff to be vaccinated as this remains the best line of defence against COVID-19.
