Marina Developments Ltd are recruiting experienced Maintenance Operative based in Southampton
Maintenance Operatives will undertake various maintenance tasks across several marinas and be reactive to changing maintenance needs and priorities and discharge their duties to a high standard and with professionalism in accordance with our standard operating procedures.
Tasks and responsibilities for this role will include:
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning works to include but not exclusively plumbing, basic electrical works, painting, pontoon deck board, cleats and bolt replacement works replacement, basic plant maintenance and basic carpentry works.
- Perform installations, assembling, fittings, repairs, and replacements as needed and as trained and competent to do so.
- Complete all work assignments in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with your training and MDL's safety protocols and operating processes. Provide support to the marina managers, marina operatives and front of house teams on occasion when required.
- Maintain adequate stock of maintenance supplies reporting stock levels monthly to your line manager and ensuring that purchase orders are raised and approved in a timely manner to ensure optimum stock levels at all times.
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with company policy and procedure and in accordance with method statements and risk assessments.
Person Specification:
- Able to provide first class customer service.
- Demonstrable knowledge and skills as required for maintenance procedures and groundworks.
- Methodical approach to work, ability to troubleshoot, follow a maintenance schedule and problemsolving skills for fixing maintenance issues.
- Previous maintenance experience essential
- Qualifications in a trade such as carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, roofing and welding an advantage.
- Competent swimmer.

Salary:
£26,500.00 per year
