Junior Electrical Estimator - BEMS
Kirkham, Lancashire

£25,000 - £35,000


Information on the role

  • Manage accurate records of tender and contract documents
  • Prepare detailed bills of quantities and work schedules for accurate pricing
  • Compile tender comparisons and consideration
  • Help present tenders at settlement meetings with a comprehensive knowledge of the best approach to be taken
  • Offer advice on risk and value engineering options
  • Work closely with supply chains to ensure competitive tenders
  • Contribute to database tenders for historical data and average rates and supply chain databases
  • Develop relationships with consultants and clients
  • Maximise efficiency of services, utilising all resources in conjunction with the Project Managers, and identity problems, taking the relevant action to resolve them

Proven Estimating or Electrical Knowledge/Experience:

Electrically biased preferred:


  • Recent Quantity Surveying Graduates considered
  • Exceptional written and spoken English skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Products
  • Selfmotivated personality
  • Attention to detail with a right firsttime attitude
  • Organisation and time management skills
