Lecturer in General Building

£24,350 - £32,563 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience

Plus £3,000 per annum Shortage Skills' Allowance

37 hours per week

Applications are welcomed from qualified industry professionals with up to date experience in the construction trade or industry who do not yet hold a teaching qualification.

We would expect you to have a keen interest in the development of young people entering the profession and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and teaching potential.

This is a unique opportunity for you to transition to a dual professional teaching role at the College.

We will support your comprehensive on-the-job training programme, including initial teacher training qualification; individual support and mentoring; and, if required, a reduced teaching workload in the first year.
