Leading innovation, R&D and regulatory organisation within the construction sector is seeking a Certification Project Manager to join the Fire Suppression team.

The Certification Project Manager is responsible for project management of product approvalsworking across the UK.

London, Watford, Luton, Stevenage, St. Albans


Salary:
£ 35,000 - £ 43,000 p.a. + Hybrid & Flexible Working + Excellent Benefits


The Role


This prestigious organisation operates on annual revenues secured through the provision of a complete range of advisory, testing, certification, commissioned research, digital products and training services.

The Certification Project Manager They will havefull responsibility for quoting, planning, producing test plans and managing the project for the product approval programme.


Key responsibilities include project management of the product approvals process - front facing customers, scoping new projects and preparing quotations and conducting detailed technical evaluations from initial enquiry to final project sign off.

You willsupport with compiling and verifying test programmes and technical approval files and reviewing client technical product documentation.


The Certification Project Manager will serve also as an Account manager for a group of clients, ensuring all clients are kept up to date on project activity.


The Person


Key requirements include Electrical and Mechanical experience (ideally holding a recognised qualification in either field) and possessing the ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and product functionality.


You will be able to demonstrate proven project management experience delivering projects on-time, on budget and to customer specifications and have experience of product testing or evaluation work.


It will be advantageous to possess a thorough understanding of the certification/approvals process and hold experience within the Fire Suppression or product testing and certification industry.

Previous exposure to UKCA, CPR, MED (Marine) and LPCB standardsis higly desirable for the position.

Experience working in a UKAS accredited certification environment is also highly valued for the role.
