    Football Development Opportunity for Crewe

    The Cheshire East Council seeks a local development partner to drive the provision of football pitches and facilities in Crewe, in collaboration with the Football Foundation.

    Key Objectives

    The project aims to address the shortfall of third-generation artificial grass pitches in the Crewe area by developing a 3G pitch with ancillary facilities at King George V Playing Field.

    Scope of Work

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Collaborating with the Council and the Football Foundation to achieve project objectives.
    • Providing feasibility studies and preliminary designs for the 3G pitch and associated facilities.
    • Securing necessary consents and approvals for the project.
    • Developing a detailed business plan for the project's financial sustainability.

    Requirements

    Applicants must possess:

    • Proven experience in sports development and facility management.
    • Strong knowledge of football industry trends and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and project management skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and community groups.
