Role Overview

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a development team both onsite and remotely at technical and personnel level
  • Communicate with the product team to understand business requirements, evaluate feature requests, and translate specifications into workable technical solutions
  • Make sure the technical solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with the MAPAL group architecture
  • Guide team members to use MAPAL standards on coding, project management, security, DevOps, and architecture
  • Create technical standards and controls in conjunction with practice leads to ensure successful delivery
  • Ensure to implement continuous improvement plans allocated to your team
  • Validate the technical output of your team members, suggesting changes or improvements where necessary
  • Grow future leaders
  • Ensure all team members have the right level of technical support

Essential Skills

  • Advanced skills working with Entity Framework
  • Substantial knowledge of MS SQL Server including the use of stored procedures
  • Experience working with Azure WebJob SDK and Redis
  • Experience with real time updates using SignalR
  • Understanding of Azure DevOps including pipeline configuration and management
  • Previous experience providing technical leadership for a development team and coaching more junior staff
  • Knowledge of frontend development with Angular and TypeScript
  • Ability to work in an agile team, particularly Scrum
  • Expert knowledge of GIT for version control

Desirable Skills

  • Working knowledge of NX, Ionic and Capacitor
  • Experience with Material Design
