We are excited about hiring an experienced Customer Service Advisor to support our growing product design company that supplies to well known UK customers such as John Lewis and Wickes.
This role is central to our small team as it involves all operational processes to ensure efficient production and delivery of high quality products to our customers.
The role will involve collaborating with various suppliers in China and Vietnam, working in a small team, and shaping our processes to meet customer demands and business growth objectives.

- Collaborating with contacts in UK, China and Vietnam, including design, manufacturing, and sales team to line up operations with product development timelines and customer expectations.
- Monitoring and managing production schedules, inventory levels, and order fulfilment to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Working with Company Directors to implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with product specifications and industry standards.
- Working with the team to identify areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency enhancement, and develop and implement appropriate strategies.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and manage customer expectations.
- Using Salesforce to deliver operational processes and generate reports to assess performance, identify trends, and make data driven recommendations to improve processes.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- Proven experience in customer service or in a similar role ideally within a product design, manufacturing or retail business.
- An understanding of product development processes, supply chain and logistics would be desirable.
- Experience in using MS office suite and Salesforce
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Brilliant organisation and time management skills to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills leading to great collaboration across all colleagues and contacts.
Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
