Job Title
:
Technical Lead - iSeries AS400

Location:
Remote/London

Duration: 6 months minimum

Inside IR35 via Umbrella_(Paystream, Advance, Giant)_

Role Purpose

Technical consultancy on iSeries (AS400) environments specifically in relation to Identity and Access management practices and controls.
Working collaboratively with various engineering teams across the organisation to effectively define strategic IAM architecture
Build, support and provide ongoing maintenance for custom feeds into an internal compliance database.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS400) systems architecture, hardware and operating system.
Proficiency in RPG, CL, and COBOL programming languages.
Knowledge of database management systems, specifically DB2/400.
Familiarity with IBM iSeries security, performance tuning, and backup/recovery procedures.
Experience with IBM iSeries hardware and software.
Knowledge of IBM iSeries network and communication protocols, including TCP/IP and SNA.
Knowledge of IBM iSeries webbased technologies, such as IBM WebSphere Application Server.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
Good communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team of technical professionals.
