Learning Support Assistant required within a Special School in Guiseley.

They cater for pupils with a variety of Special Education Needs and Disabilities including Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Social Emotional Mental Health issues (SEMH).

They have numerous sites across the area including partnership sites in both primary and secondary schools.


As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work across the school, supporting pupils with challenging behaviours, practically engage with students and their activities, and following strategies to help manage their needs.


We are seeking an individual's who have experience of supporting pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs including ASC and complex communication needs, challenging behaviour, PMLD, SLD, MLD and SEMH.

Applications will be considered from individuals with

  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Moving and Handling trained
  • Team Teach/MAPA/PRICE trained
