Role Purpose

The Homeless Casework Service was established to provide support to individuals experiencing homelessness or residing in temporary accommodation, facilitating their transition into stable and sustainable housing.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service to homeless applicants and key partners.
Provide specialist homelessness casework to survivors of domestic abuse, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation, strategies, policies, and initiatives at national, regional, and local levels.
Implement timely interventions to ensure the safety of survivors affected by female genital mutilation, forced marriage, and honour-based violence.
Promote collaborative working with internal and external partners to enhance outcomes for domestic abuse survivors with housing needs.
Contribute to the dissemination and embedding of safeguarding best practice across the Housing Advisory Service.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
