Description

This is an internal role, involving assisting in the management of a busy 8000sqft warehouse, supplying product to the electrical wholesale industry and their clients.

The role includes supporting the administrative requirements of the business, order dispatch, product modification production, liaising with shippers, goods inwards support, product testing, administration and maintenance, and telephone answering.

Role and Responsibilities

This is a varied role which has at the heart of it, the interaction with colleagues to support our clients.

Assisting in the management of a busy warehouse including all the inventory, including goods inwards and goods out, including order processing and dispatch
Assisting in the management of logistics on a day to day basis
Assisting with product testing where required
Keeping the warehouse safe in line with health and safety guidance
Product modification and construction
Technical project support

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Current fork lift license, health and safety training ideally

Preferred Skills & experience
Good IT skills

Time management

Good communication skills

Knowledge of electronics could be an advantage

Computer literate - MS Office essential

Knowledge of unloading containers an advantage

Full driving license ideally

Job Types:

Salary:
£21,000.00-£21,500.00 per year
